- What is your skin type / skin tone?
- My skin tone is typically categorized as light, but sometimes fair-light. I have very warm/yellow undertones that lean a tiny bit olive. I have very combination skin – really dry along the edges (temples, cheeks, jawline), really oily in the middle/T-zone area (forehead, nose, chin). Although my skin can be pretty sensitive at times, I don’t have too many other issues with it. I do, however, have some slight redness on my cheeks and sides of my nose. I also get the occasional blemish every now and then, and I have a few wrinkles/smile lines under my eyes.
- What foundation shade do you wear in ____?
- A list of foundation shades I wear can be found here.
- What camera do you use?
- I switch between a few depending on the situation. The cameras that I mainly use are my iPhone 7 Plus, Sony a6000, and my trusty ol’ Canon Rebel T4i.
- What camera do you use to take your swatch photos and how do you get them so sharp?
- Believe it or not, my swatch photos are actually taken with my iPhone 7 Plus! A lot of people are usually surprised by this, but that little guy can take pretty good photos. If you’re taking photos with your iPhone, try to make sure you have ample light. Lighting plays a big role in the quality of those photos. (If you were wondering, I take my swatch photos in natural light.)
